Reason 6 - Hurt Me, Hurt You
Because he can make it all stop.


There’s a lot he’ll never understand about Ichigo and what he’s going through. Isshin has no idea what it’s like to be half hollow, to have some manic running around in your head. He doesn’t know what it’s like to take on that much responsibility at such a young age. But he does know that sometimes it gets to be too much for Ichigo. That sometimes he needs someone to make it all go away. And while Isshin may not be able to help the boy out a lot, he can at least try to help him with that.

So he pounds harder, faster. He leans over and bites Ichigo’s neck, clamping down and digging his teeth in as his son’s back arches a cry ripping from his throat. He licks the blood away as he kneels back up, pulling Ichigo’s hips higher and further back. His fingers are gripping his hips with bruising force, the marks already showing a deep purple. He moves one hand to Ichigo’s shoulder pushing him further into the bed as he adjusts his thrusts to nail the boy’s prostrate. He watches Ichigo’s hands scramble across the mattress before finally clutching the sheets, his knuckles turning white instantly. He keeps up the rhythm as long as he can, Ichigo writhing beneath him, whimpering and moaning. Once he feels himself teetering on the edge he reaches around and grips Ichigo’s cock, jerking him fast and brutal, forcing his orgasm out of him. Ichigo’s scream is still echoing in his ears as his own release hits. His mind goes blank and he collapses forward, his breathing ragged.

He waits for Ichigo to move first, a slightly pained moan preceding the shove to his shoulder. He pulls out and rolls off with a tired groan. Ichigo turns to face him and Isshin stays still as the boy rests his head on his chest, shifting around until he’s comfortable. This is the part that makes it all worth it, worth the guilt that will come tomorrow when he’ll watch his son try to walk without limping. As long as he’s allowed to hold him afterwards, he’ll keep doing it. He’ll keep hurting himself for Ichigo.
